Abstract
Alesandro Michelle, a well renowned Italian designer famously known for his work with Gucci. As creative director since 2015 created Fall/Winter 2020 Ready-to-Wear. This collection pays homage to the fashion industry's history, featuring over sixty looks spanning from the 1860s to the 1970s, showcasing the evolution of fashion over time. The unique circular runway stage symbolizes transparency, offering a behind-the-scenes view of the collaborative efforts that bring a fashion show to life. The circular stage provides a 360 view as the stage rotates for the entire audience to see. The dim lighting creates a dawn mood to show and pulls the eyes towards the center of stage where the stylists are working while also emphasizing the models as they step out one by one. Additionally, the infusion of Edwardian era color elements highlights Michelle's deep appreciation for history while embracing the evolution of style. Alessandro Michele's work in this collection beautifully encapsulates the essence of paying tribute to the past while confidently stepping into the future, celebrating both his creative brilliance and the enduring legacy of the Gucci brand.
